Standards first
Course material follows BICSI installation standards and manufacturer practices, so students learn the method the industry tests against.
About the institute
Cablewright Technical Institute was started by low-voltage industry professionals who could not find enough trained technicians, so they decided to train them.
Our founders have spent their careers installing structured cabling, audio-visual, security, and building-controls systems for government agencies and commercial clients. Year after year, the hardest part of growing was not winning work. It was finding technicians who could terminate, test, and document to standard.
Cablewright Technical Institute (DBA CablewrightTI) was formed in 2026 to close that gap: a training institute run by people who still do the work, teaching the skills that get a technician hired and keep a project passing inspection.
Our initial focus is low voltage. The institute is deliberately built to expand into the adjacent technologies that modern buildings depend on.

How we teach
Course material follows BICSI installation standards and manufacturer practices, so students learn the method the industry tests against.
Lab time is the course. Students terminate, splice, test, and label real cable on real hardware, with instructors checking the work.
Safety, documentation, and professional conduct are built into every module, because that is what employers and inspectors see.
Instructors
Instructor profiles will be posted as each course is scheduled. Every instructor holds current industry credentials and active field experience.
